You can make ski and riding more affordable. Plenty of consignment shops for great used gear. Lift tickets are not cheap, unless you buy the season passes. There are several season passes out there in the $350 a year unlimited visit range. Maybe the down trend is that more snowboarders are spending their cash on "medicine" from a local green pharmacy. SOS Outreach combines snowboarding fun with leadership lessons
Twenty students from Hillsboro's W.L. Henry Elementary School recently completed the SOS Outreach character development program by preparing the school garden for spring as a community service project.
