SOS Outreach combines snowboarding fun with leadership lessons
Twenty students from Hillsboro's W.L. Henry Elementary School recently completed the SOS Outreach character development program by preparing the school garden for spring as a community service project. It was the final step in a program that offers underprivileged youth an opportunity to experience the fun of winter sports while incorporating a curriculum of leadership and core values.
