Bahamas Golf Resorts – Excitement for All Golfers

While the Bahamas is known for being one of the most exotic places in the world to visit there are many different exciting Bahamas golf resorts throughout the country. These are among the most popular places for Bahamas recreation. There are all sorts of great courses in the area with many different unique features.

 

One of the most notable things about all of these places for Bahamas recreation is that golf lessons are available at many of these great golf resorts. It is best to reserve an appointment for lessons at least a day before coming to the resort. After lessons are taken the many different resorts for golf can be enjoyed.

Also, clubs should be brought, but club rental is available at these places. Rental will cost a good amount of money though, so it is best to bring one's own clubs.

The first of the great Bahamas golf resorts to check out is the Crowne Plaza Golf Resort and Casino. Located at the Royal Oasis in the Grand Bahama Island, this resort features the famous Emerald and Ruby courses. Both of them are par-72 courses and are known for their rolling terrains and especially tricky sand traps.

The Four Seasons Resort Emerald Bay Golf Club is another of the top places for Bahamas recreation. This is located at the Exumas and features all sorts of great holes of different difficulties that make the game exciting for all golfers. It is something that is of interest to all golfers.

The Ocean Club Golf Club, which is located at Paradise Island, features a beautiful view of the ocean. This par-72 course features all kinds of interesting features, including the world's largest sand trap. All three sides of the course have water hazards too, thus making for a great challenge for all golfers. The par-3 14th hole of the course is one of the most unique holes in the world. It's no wonder that this course has been endorsed by many of the world's top golfers, including Gary Player and Jack Nicklaus.

The Radisson Cable Beach Golf Course, which is located at Cable Beach, is the oldest of the golf resorts in the Bahamas. This place for Bahamas recreation was popular with the British expatriates during the 1930s. This par-72 course features over seven thousand yards of impressive scenery, including various different water hazards and miniature ponds.

The Reef Course, which is at the Grand Bahama Island's Grand Lucaya, is considered to be a course that is like a simulation of some of the famous Scottish courses overseas. This features over six thousand yards of link-style greens.

Many of these courses can be visited on a golfing travel package to the Bahamas. Certain resorts and hotels will have golfing available in the travel packages that they offer. Some courses are only available to those who stay at certain resorts too.

That's a look at some of the many Bahamas golf resorts. These resorts are beautiful, challenging and exciting, and they make for great places for Bahamas recreation.
